Having selected a set of edible hats, I’m ready to go:
SD Mayor
Bidewell comes in third thanks to the Sanders campaign and the non-logical method in which San Diegans decide whom to vote for.
SD City Attorney
I’m feeling fuzzy for Peters. He sqeaks past Goldsmith in a heart stopper to take on Mike.
SD City Council 1
Lightner comes in higher than expected to challenge Phil
SD City Council 3
Although a Gloria-Whitburn match up would be a blast to watch, I think Todd will come in stronger than expected. It won’t be enough to take out Hartley but enough to show him the writing on the wall.
SD City Council 7
Marti either blows April away or loses in a narrow absentee battle.
AD 78
Auday now has ads on cable TV. I say he, Sherard, and Block will duke it out in an alcohol-inducing three-way fight and the winner wins by less than 500 votes.
See y’all in the Gaslamp!

I think the 78th is Block by 700 votes. Maxine doesn't have a campaign and all Arabo is doing is wasting money.
Let Thalimier and Merrifield destroy eachother. It makes it easier for Lightner in the fall especially with a Dem surge at the polls.
george george wins in D5
Peters by 750 over Goldsmith, but Aguirre by 2000 over Peters
C'mon, I dislike DeMaio getting elected as much as anyone, but do you really think George George has a chance in a city council district that is so Republican?
must disagree with your assement for district 3 council seat. Stephen Whitburn will shine.
Hey let's all hop online and check blogs instead of GOTV!
I wonder what your average D5 resident is going to think when they belatedly realize they voted for a gaaaay. Just sayin' - it's the least friendly district, I bet most of them don't know! After initial shock and awe, maybe four years in though they'll realize it's not a big deal.
if stephen whitburn shines, the only thing shining will be his badge of dishonor for trying to "buy" the race with all of his money and carpetbagging from wisconsin.
April wins over Marti by no more than 4 percentage points.
Woo hoo Marty!
Nice guesses Socrates, right on the mark...
