Candidate Marti Emerald fights for District 7 residents
Channel 8 last night had a story about district 7 candidate Marti Emerald, who is already fighting for the residents of the district. Today, she is going up to Long Beach to urge the CSU Trustees to delay the vote on the SDSU expansion plans. You can see the video to the story here.

With a degree from National University, and a potential law degree from Thomas Jefferson, has anyone stopped to ask how Marti Emerald is qualified to discuss legitimate universities?
Well lets see - our Mayor has his degree from National University - what does that have to do with land use policy?
Gee, let's evaluate all of our leaders who are educated at premier learning institutions. Hmmm? Yes, that must be the key ingredient! Practical, common sense, grounded, empathetic individual need not apply!
