Stop Special Interest Money Now Act Web Video

The Alliance for a Better California 2012 has announced releasing a web video "setting the record straight about the so-called Stop Special Interest Money Now Act." The group says the initiative, which will appear on the November ballot, should be called the "Special Exemptions Act," citing columnist Dan Morain in Sunday's Sacramento Bee, who said, "the initiative would not curtail donations by insurance companies, among the largest donors to political campaigns, or to corporations that create limited liability coprorations, as major pharmaceutical companies and others have done."
