I'm Going to be Sleeping Much Better Tonight Knowing This...

The UT had a story today informing us that Petco Park ranks fourth best among "vegetarian friendly" Major League Baseball ballparks. Don't they know that the baseball is a leather hide stitch together and the players use gloves made of leather? I guess that didn't figure into their calculations. I have nothing more to add here.

Sarcasm aside, this is good news as vegetarians can enjoy the park without having to worry the food that they are eating is prepared with care. As a vegetarian, I don't go to the park that much but when I have family come over they want to go to a game and being a good host I go as well. I can find comfort that the food they are eating is of the best quality available.

Is it still considered "vegetarian" if rats leave droppings? Oh wait, I'm thinking of Qualcomm.

As a baseball fan AND a vegetarian - I can say Petco definitely gets credit for having some options... more than you get at Qualcomm, where the only options are garlic fries.
